CFP: Disentangling the American Patchwork Heritage, JAm It! #4
We’re glad to share the call for papers for the 4th issue of the academic journal JAm It! (Journal of American Studies in Italy).
The issue will delve into new critical approaches to the complex and often-fraught multicultural paradigm, whose formulation and (re)conceptualization is far from being exhausted in a country which has never ceased to be a target destination for migrants. We welcome contributions from the field of American Studies at large and all academic disciplines bordering with it, and we encourage discussions that aim to push against the multicultural paradigm, shedding light on recent reconfigurations of diverse intercultural experiences within the United States context.
The deadline to send a 500-word abstract proposal and short bio July 15, 2020. Essays of no more than 8,000 words will be due by November 1, 2020.
