CFP: Cosmopolitan aspirations in English-speaking cinema and TV

We’re glad to share the call for papers for the 26th Annual SERCIA Conference Cosmopolitan aspirations in English-speaking cinema and television, which will take place at the Universidad de Zaragoza, Spain, on September 2-4, 2020.
The event will explore the ways in which cosmopolitan aspirations (and their enemies” in Ulrich Beck’s words) have made their way into English-speaking cinema and television across different time periods, nations, genres and media.
The extended deadline for proposals is May 1, 2020.
